Wildcat Folder
Dear Parents,
Today your child is bringing home their very own Wildcat folder. What is a Wildcat folder? A Wildcat folder is a vinyl folder that your child will use every day to develop organizational skills and learn to become responsible for returning items daily. I feel that it is important to teach students how to keep up with communication between home and school. This folder is a way of helping your child be accountable for those communications. The focus is to eliminate lost notes, money, newsletters, calendars, graded papers, homework, etc. This procedure will also keep parents informed of important events and academic progress.
What’s the BUZZ about the Wildcat folder?
*The insert on the back of the folder is where we keep our weekly homework sheet.
*The inside pockets are for papers that need to be returned to school and for papers that need to be kept at home.
Please help your child create a routine for their Wildcat folder. Make a special time that your child can share their learning experience with you each day.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments about these folders, please feel free to share with me! Your child is the one ultimately responsible for keeping track of their Wildcat folder, but you may need to remind at the beginning, to bring it home and back to school every day.
There are a few simple guidelines for their Wildcat folder in the inside pocket of their folder.
